Introduction:
Cone Crusher is widely used for secondary and fine crushing in the fields of mining, chemical industry, building materials, metallurgy and so on. Working Principles:
The spring cone crusher crushes materials by the working surface between the movable cone and fixed cone. So it is more advanced and efficiency than jaw crusher. The movable cone is supported by spherical bearing and fixed on an hanging erect shaft which is set in the eccentric sleeve, and the sleeve is set on the stopping and pushing bearing. The movable cone and erect shaft are drived by the eccentric shaft sleeve together. The eccentric shaft sleeve is driven by horizontal shaft and fabricated gear, and the wheel of the conveyor belt is drived by motor through v-belts. The lower part of vertical shaft is installed in the eccentric sleeve. When the eccentric sleeve rotates, there is a conical surface lined out by the shaft. When the movable cone comes near the fixed cone, rocks are grinded into pieces, when the cone leaves, grinded materials is discharged from the discharge hole. The fixed cone can be ascended or descended by adjusting setting to adjust the width of discharge hole, consequently the output size is determined.

The Countershaft Part of Spring Cone Crusher:
The cone crusher is made up of main frame part, countershaft part, eccentric part, movable cone part, bowl part, and lubrication part.
The countershaft is in the frame driving axle box. The front of the countershaft is holding-on with the pinion and the gear which is on the eccentric. The other side is connect with belt and motor by belt pulley.
The shaft bearing of cone crusher consists of rolling bearing and sliding bearing. Both of them have their own advantages. When the quality, assembly, and lubrication of the countershaft are all good enough, the work efficiency of rolling shaft will be great. And it will have a long service life, and also it will be convenient to maintain.
Note for Cone Crusher Maintenance:
1. the materials must be in the middle of the distributor, see diagram 14. it is not allowed to put the materials into the crushing chamber directly, because it will make the crusher overloaded and the liner plate will be abraded unevenly. Correct feeding conditions:
a. the materials are distributed equally to the crushing chamber.
b. The quantity of materials should not higher than the mortar.
2. the max feeding size should not equal to the feed opening, (the max feeding size=85% of the feed opening) otherwise, it will lead to:
a. the capacity is low
b. some spare parts will be damaged.
3. crusher is not allowed to start in overload condition in case of accident.
4. when stop the crusher, stop the feeder first. After the materials are all discharged out, stop the crusher.
5. the locking system and hydraulic station should be checked often to avoid problems.
The Factors to Enhance Crusher Capacity:
1. Proper selection of crushing chamber for material to be crushed.
2. A feed grading containing proper distribution of the particle sizes.
3. Controlled feed rate.
4. Proper feed distribution 360ºround the crushing chamber.
5. Discharge conveyor sized to carry maximum crusher capacity.
6. Properly sized scalping and closed circuit screens.
7. Automation controls.
8. Adequate crusher discharge area.
